Who is this for? Readers who’d normally want the Pro tier — more RAM, a better camera, a higher-refresh display — and are deciding whether to wait for it. If you need a GrapheneOS phone now, the Pixel 10 Pro has full production support today; nothing about the Pixel 11 Pro changes that yet.

What the Pro adds over the base Pixel 11
More RAM at the higher storage tiers (16GB at 512GB/1TB, vs. the base model’s flat 12GB — though the Pro’s own 256GB entry tier matches the base model at 12GB, a real step down from the Pixel 10 Pro’s 16GB-across-the-board), a triple-camera system versus the base model’s single main sensor, and a larger, higher-resolution display. None of that changes the security story — if GrapheneOS ends up supporting the Pixel 11 generation, it will support the Pro exactly as it supports the base model. The Pro premium buys camera and display hardware, not better protection, the same tradeoff every past Pixel generation has had.
The price jump is real news here. A $1,099 US starting price is a genuine increase over the Pixel 10 Pro’s entry point, and Google’s own VP of Devices and Services has publicly attributed it to rising RAM component costs rather than framing it as a one-off.
GrapheneOS support: same open question as the base Pixel 11
This isn’t a Pro-specific issue — see the Pixel 11 page for the full explanation. Short version: GrapheneOS ended its Pixel exclusivity in March 2026 with a confirmed Motorola partnership, and its own developers have said they don’t know how long they can keep supporting future Pixels. GrapheneOS almost certainly intends to support this generation the way it has every recent Pixel — nothing here says otherwise — but the multi-year certainty that existed before this announcement no longer applies automatically.
Caveats
This page now reflects the announcement, but GrapheneOS support is still genuinely absent. The table above comes from Google’s own keynote, not leaks anymore — but that doesn’t change the GrapheneOS status.
The GrapheneOS timeline is still unknown. This page will be updated once GrapheneOS support for the Pixel 11 generation actually exists.
EU pricing isn’t confirmed in this update. The $1,099 figure above is Google’s own US price. EU pricing will be added once confirmed directly by Google.
